Our products feature a 100% cotton fabric, with a soft, smooth, and durable ringspun, 30/1 fine jersey knit construction. The shirts are pre-shrunk, but may still experience a slight shrinkage after washing, as is common with high-cotton garments.
The unisex modern fit of our shirts is slightly tapered, resulting in a less boxy silhouette compared to traditional mass-market t-shirts. We recommend customers consider going one size larger if they prefer a roomier fit.
Each design is meticulously drawn and screen-printed (silk-screened) with pride by our skilled illustrators and printers in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The tagless tag is printed directly on the fabric inside the collar, ensuring a comfortable, unobtrusive wear.
Our high-quality inks, sourced from QCM in Pineville, North Carolina, are known for their vibrant colors, durability, and excellent crack resistance. Some designs feature intentionally faded or cracked effects, but our inks always deliver the desired result, thanks to the expertise of our printing team and top-of-the-line equipment.
Look closely at the Odin design to see the ravens Huginn and Muninn flanking Odin, as well as the 10th-century Viking prayer encircling the bottom ring of the graphic.
The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company was founded as a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. We now proudly design, print, and embroider the majority of our products at our own factory in Ann Arbor.
